Powerful Clean.

No Compromise. No Caustics.

Clean Confidently

Parabens – Preservatives used to prevent microbial growth; some studies have raised concerns about potential endocrine activity.

Sulphates (SLS, SLES) – High-foaming surfactants that can be harsh on sensitive skin and may contribute to aquatic toxicity at high concentrations.

Hydrochloric Acid – A strong acid used in toilet cleaners; highly corrosive and may release irritating fumes.

Bleach (Sodium Hypochlorite) – A powerful disinfectant that can emit fumes and form harmful by-products if mixed improperly.

Ethanol – Commonly used for rapid disinfection; highly flammable and may contribute to respiratory irritation in enclosed spaces.

Triclosan – An antimicrobial agent that has raised concerns about antimicrobial resistance and endocrine disruption.

Phosphates – Enhance cleaning performance but contribute to aquatic pollution and algal blooms.

Artificial Colours & Fragrances – Added for sensory appeal; may trigger sensitivities in some individuals.

PEGs & Polysorbates – Ethoxylated compounds used as solubilisers and emulsifiers; may carry contamination concerns depending on manufacturing quality and are not always readily biodegradable.

Quats (including Benzalkonium Chloride) – Widely used disinfectants that may cause skin irritation with repeated exposure and raise concerns around environmental persistence.

These ingredients often appear in “everyday” cleaning products hidden behind pleasant fragrances or glossy packaging. We choose to leave them out, not because it’s easy, but because it’s right.

Regulations often assess ingredients in isolation. Real life does not. Products are layered across spaces and shared by children, pets, the elderly, and everyone who breathes the same indoor air.

Daily use, cumulative exposure, and long-term environmental impact tell a broader story.

That is why we choose a more cautious path, formulating beyond minimum compliance with safety, longevity, and environmental responsibility in mind. Where effective plant-derived alternatives exist, we choose them.

Yes, all our products are third-party research lab-tested and found to be non-irritating and suitable for individuals with sensitive skin.

Our products undergo rigorous testing for performance, safety, and formulation standards, including:

• Antimicrobial Efficacy Testing
• VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) Testing
• Toxic Solvent Screening (free from ethanol, methanol, parabens, acetone, and harsh solvents)
• Pesticide Residue Testing
• Heavy Metals Testing (including lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium, and other regulated metals)
• Biodegradability Testing - as per OECD guidelines
• Skin Safety, Sensitivity, and Toxicity Testing
• Cruelty-Free Certification

All performance and safety tests were conducted by a third-party NABL-accredited laboratory. Skin-related testing was conducted separately by an independent research laboratory.

Even rinse-off or wipe-off products can leave microscopic residues on surfaces, fabrics, utensils, and in wastewater systems. Over time, repeated daily use can increase cumulative exposure.

Heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, mercury, and cadmium may enter formulations through raw material contamination. Even trace levels matter because these elements can bioaccumulate and are tightly regulated for health reasons.

Plant-derived ingredients may carry agricultural residues if not properly screened.

Solvent residues can also remain from manufacturing processes if quality controls are inadequate.

Surfaces are touched daily. Floors are where children crawl. Utensils come into contact with food. Indoor exposure is continuous and shared.

Residue screening therefore serves as a barometer of a product’s safety profile and reflects the rigor, transparency, and integrity of the entire supply chain.

We believe sustainability is about making responsible choices at every stage, not chasing perfection.

Our formulations are made with 100% nature-derived ingredients, selected for their performance, safety, and biodegradability. Our packaging follows a pragmatic, evolving approach—balancing product stability, safety, cost, and the most responsible materials available.

Our ingredients have been verified to be biodegradable as per OECD 301B.

Additionally, our formulations are ultra-concentrated, reducing the need for frequent replacements and, in turn, lowering packaging use and associated carbon emissions.

We print our labels using vegetable-based inks as part of our ongoing effort to align our business practices with our sustainability and circularity goals.

At Green Molecule, our approach is not about creating fear. Conventional cleaners have been around for a long time, and many of them are effective and economically priced. Our goal is simply to offer people an alternative. Standards are not cast in stone, and innovation allows for new ways of formulating everyday products.

In many ways, it is about risk management. We believe everyday cleaning products should be designed so people don’t have to worry about what might happen if a product is used imperfectly in a busy home environment. Our formulations are carefully developed and subjected to rigorous third-party testing to ensure both efficacy and safety.

Ultimately, we believe people should know what they are using in their homes and be able to make an informed choice.
